My Inspiraton, My Style, ME.

The next post we are required to express ourselves in the form of interior photography. What are the interior spaces or elements that inspire us, that gives a little insight to us as a designer.

I, myself have not found MY style. I am still learning and still finding my personal style. Over the years my style has varied, but still has some similarities to one another. Back in highschool, i use to love and i mean LOVE the whole balinese concept. Wide open spaces that open ups to a wide beautiful garden, minimal uses of walls to allocate space barriers. Here are some examples :

Floor to ceiling windows creating illusion of space and serenity

Living rooms that opens immediately to a big green garden

What i like the most about this concept is the incorporation of nature, the amount of wood used to make it warm and homely surrounded by greenery for a calming effect and soft but viberant colours to pick up the essence.

Then slowly i begin to like the concept of using wood, concrete and steel. Yes, it may look more manly, but to me it gives a certain feel of stylish-ness, minimalist and cool effect. here are a few photos that spoke out to me
